Leslie & Bridgett Lupton

Lead Pastors

Pastor Leslie and Bridgett Lupton have been happily married since October of 1999 and have served faithfully in full time ministry ever since. They have been blessed with three beautiful daughters: Klarissa, Courtney, and Chloe. Most recently, they have also added two son-in-laws, Kody & Austin.

Pastor Leslie is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God (Cleveland, TN). He has served in multiple capacities within the church including pastoral ministries, as well as a keynote speaker at camps, camp meetings, and leadership conferences. He has a heart for connecting people to Jesus and encouraging them to find their purpose in fulfilling the Great Commission.

Randy & Vicki Smith

Legacy Pastors

Randy and Vicki Smith serve as the legacy pastors of The Healing Place since 2021. Before that, they served as lead pastors since 2003. Randy and Vicki have more than three decades of ministerial experience. They have served in various roles such as children’s pastors, student pastors, music pastors, and senior adult pastors as well as State Youth Directors in the Church of God in Mississippi and Louisiana. Their heart, however, is for the local church. Randy and Vicki have two daughters, Bridgett and Tiffney, and the five most beautiful grandchildren in the world!

Anthony Bellew

Senior Adult Ministry

Anthony Bellew has been the senior adult pastor and overseer of care ministries since 2016. Previously, he served for thirty years as a volunteer in various ministries including Christian education and nursing home ministry.  Pastor Anthony has been married to his wife, Renee, since 1997; they have two children, McKenzie and Carter. Anthony loves hiking, fishing, camping, good books, and cars.

Renee Bellew

Office Receptionist

Renee Bellew has been the office receptionist since 2017. She has been  married to her husband, Anthony Bellew, since 1997; they have two children, McKenzie and Carter. Renee loves camping, hiking. and vacationing at the beach.

Tommy Butler

Media Ministry

Tommy Butler has served as the media director since 2016. He has served in media ministry at various churches for seventeen years. Tommy has been happily married to his wife, Leahia, since 1997. They have two children, Noah and Anna Grace.  Tommy enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, and fishing.

Mark Correll

Church Evangelism

Mark Correll has been in ministry for more than thirty years. He and his wife, Sheryl, became lead pastors in 1985. In 2007, they transitioned out of lead pastoring and into a ministry of evangelism and teaching. Under Mark Correll Ministries International, Mark has reached communities around the United States and the world. He continues to coordinate tours to the Holy Land, supports several ministries in Israel, and offers a website with teaching products and media. Mark and Sheryl have three children: Mark Jr., Cassie, and Bethany. They have seven beautiful grandchildren: Wilder, Mary Layne, Nora Ruth, Lucas, Sam, Brody, and Eli James.

Patrick Diggs

World Missions Representatives

Patrick Diggs began his tenure of World Missions Representative at The Healing Place in January of 2023. He is an Ordained Bishop with the Church of God and has served in various positions in his over 25 years of ministry. Patrick has been married to Catina since December of 1993 and they have two sons - Jake and Will.  Patrick loves traveling to other countries, working out, hiking, camping, and his chickens - a.k.a. “the girls”.

J. D. Dunn

Director of Security

Joseph Dunn has been working at The Healing Place Church for the past several years as a contracted police officer providing security.  In May of 2023 he took over the role as Director of Security for the church.  In addition, he served active duty in the U.S. Air Force just over 6 years as a Security Forces member.  He is currently a sergeant with Trussville Police Dept.  Joseph and his wife Breanna have been married for 18 years; they have two children, Jennifer and Connor.  In his spare time he enjoys camping with his family, traveling and watching movies. 

Stephanie Fontenot

Homeschool Co-Op Director

Stephanie Fontenot is the Co-op director at THP and has served in various children’s ministries since 2004, when she began co teaching Sunday school with her then fiancé, Stacey. They married in 2005 and have two children, Elliott and Rory. She has served in the homeschool ministry since 2017 and has also held positions in guest services, special needs ministry, and security. Stephanie enjoys sewing, running, hiking, reading, and generally being outdoors.

Larry Graham

Music Ministry

Larry Graham has served as the music pastor at The Healing Place since July of 2006. He has been involved in ministry for more than thirty years and has served on the Alabama State Music Committee for fourteen years. He has been happily married to Denise “Smitty” Graham for thirty-four years. They have one son, Wesley, who is married to Megan. Larry and Smitty have three grandchildren, Lucy, Bennett, and Joellen. He loves Alabama Football and playing golf. 

Smitty Graham

Executive Assistant

Shelby Denise Graham serves as the executive assistant of The Healing Place Church. While serving the church, she also embodies many roles. She is wife to Larry Graham, mom to Wesley Graham, mother-in-law to Megan Graham, and Gigi to her precious grandchildren—Lucy, Bennett, and Joellen.  She is “Denise” to her mother and siblings; she is “Smitty” to her friends. Whatever title she holds, she is blessed to live the life God has given her.  She enjoys reading, sewing, the Alabama Crimson Tide, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Wes Graham

Music Ministry Assistant

Wes Graham has served at The Healing Place since 2006. He is also a public school principal in the Birmingham area. Wes is married to Megan Graham. They have three beautiful children: Lucy, Bennett, and Joellen. Wes loves all types of music and sports, especially Alabama football.

Austin Hancock

Assimilation Pastor

Austin Hancock has served as the Assimilation Pastor at The Healing Place since September 2022. Austin is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God, and graduated from Lee University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministries.  It is Austin’s passion to see every person at The Healing Place Church find belonging, freedom, and discover their purpose in the Body of Christ through Freedom Ministry, THP Teams, and our week to week discipleship classes.  Whether you are a first time guest or a member of THP, Austin looks forward to meeting you!  You can find Austin and his wife Courtney hosting their young adult group on Thursday nights or enjoying spending time with friends and family!

Percy Jones

Ministry Assistant to the Lead Pastor

Percy Jones is currently serving as the ministry assistant to the lead pastor. Previously, he served as associate pastor at New Beginning Christian Fellowship and holds a degree in Biblical Studies. Percy is also a licensed electrician. He has been married to Labrina since 2014. He enjoys watching action-packed movies and completing electrical work.

Aimee Krenz

Graphic Design

Aimee Krenz has served as the graphic designer at The Healing Place Church since May of 2007. She has served in different areas of ministry including children’s, student, and media ministry since 1996. Aimee married Beau Krenz in December of 2009.  They had a son named Judah in March of 2012, and another son, Jonah, in June of 2017. In her spare time, Aimee enjoys spending time with her family, knitting, and scuba diving.

Vicki Lee

Business & Finance Ministry

Vicki Lee has been the business and financial ministries pastor at The Healing Place Church since 2014. She is a retired banker of twenty-five years and has worked in church administration for fourteen years. Vicki has been involved in ministry work, as a volunteer and paid worker for more than thirty years. Vicki has been married to Ricky Lee since 1986. She and Ricky have three grown children: Brett Lee, Tiffany Brasher, and Heather Brasher. They have five wonderful grandchildren: Ava, Brodie, Adalyn, Bentlee, and Remington.  Vicki’s first love is spending time with her family. She and Ricky love to travel to different places. She enjoys reading, shopping, and gardening.

Renee Pierce

Nursery Director

Renee Pierce has served as the nursery director at The Healing Place since 2016. She has worked with children and youth for the last twenty years. Renee has been happily married to her husband, Tim, since 2004, and they have a daughter named Katelyn. She enjoys traveling, fishing, and the outdoors.

Travis Vaughan

Student Ministry

Travis Vaughan has served as the student pastor since June 2023, but has been involved in ministry for over 10 years in various roles with worship teams and student ministry. Travis married his wife Courtney in August of 2010. They have three beautiful girls Evie, Eliza, and Eloise. They have a passion for the next generation and love seeing students transformed by the love and grace of God. In his free time you will find him hiking with the family, hunting, golfing or watching Auburn football.

Jackson Williams

Interim Children's Pastor

Jackson Williams is the interim children's pastor for THP. Previously, he served as the Lincoln Campus Pastor since January of 2023. Also, he was an intern at THP and has served in various ministry capacities since 2020; he was also a First Priority leader at Springville High School. Jackson looks forward to furthering ministerial education and credentialing as he is passionate about leading others to the same freedom that he has found in Christ. He also enjoys competing in marathons, playing basketball, spending time with friends and family, and drinking coffee!
